About the format of this virtual training:

Extensive time on or up-close to your screen is not required.

Are you interested in this training but concerned about zoom-fatigue and the effects of too much time on screen? As a frequent Zoom user, I am thankful for a means to remain productive in my work and connect with friends and colleagues. However, in both online facilitator and course participant roles, I am also acutely aware of experiencing tiredness, fuzzy brain, eye strain, physical tension, and depleted energy when I have extended periods online.

The program is highly experiential. I have designed an interactive format to minimise the requirement for extensive up close face-to-face periods while maximising the opportunity for warmth and connection when meditating and learning with others. Of course, there will be times when you will appreciate access to your video to ask questions, engage with the facilitator and other participants.

o There will be frequent options to turn off the video or sit back from the screen when meditating, practising or listening to talks.

o Frequent breaks will be scheduled throughout the day. As a result, you will not be glued to the screen for consecutive uninterrupted lengthy periods.

o You can situate yourself inside or outside in the environment, as long as you have a good connection to listen in.
