Mentoring programs are tailored to meet your specific aims and aspirations. For example, you may choose to explore a new direction emerging in your life, develop your meditation practice or learn mindfulness-based techniques to work with anxiety, depression, grief or physical pain. Lifestyle, vision, profession, spiritual orientation are deeply respected and considered when designing your program. 

You may select from any of the modalities offered to customise your program. For example, Mindfulness & Meditation – developing a sustainable practice; Work, Creativity & Interpersonal Skills; Specialised Breathing (pranayama) Embodied Movement for Mental Health; Buddhist & Yoga Philosophy. 

How many sessions are recommended for a customised program?

One-time sessions run for 60 or 90 mins. Customised mentoring programs are comprised of 5 - 6 sessions.

It is recommended that the first three meetings be scheduled one week apart. Subsequent sessions can be attended fortnightly or monthly, depending on your requirements. Continuity is essential to establish confidence in meditating alone or deepening an established practice. Typically, the first session consists of gaining clarity on your objectives and interests to customise your program and design a personal practice that you can easily assimilate into everyday life. In subsequent weeks, we expand upon your chosen program components and develop a tailored home practice to explore during the time between sessions. Based on your experience and feedback during the course, each mentoring session is refined to build upon the previous one. For example, two of our most popular programs below, show how each has been customised with a different emphasis:

  • Minding Mind: Cultivate a strong, resilient and peaceful mind. Focus on Meditation, Buddhist philosophy and the four foundations of mindfulness. This program may include training in meditation, integrating mindfulness in daily life, yoga breathing and restorative practices for stress management. This program includes a unique 5-month Meditation Practice E-Course written and created by Michele – which you can engage with in your own time and is yours to keep. 

  • Health and Wellbeing: This program emphasises physical yoga (asana) practice to enhance physiological and mental health or work with injury and recovery. Includes yoga informed posture, embodiment exercises, specialised breathing techniques, yoga therapy, healing and stress management. Design a progam that suits you!

  • Meditation Practise: Based on your individual needs and experience, together we will create a structured meditation schedule to suit your lifestyle and support a sustainable practice. Receiving clear instructions from someone with experience will inspire and fuel your enthusiasm to practice. 

  • Mentoring for Teachers and Trainees: Qualified Yoga Teachers or health professionals may select mentoring in embodied yoga informed practices & therapy, designing a program for clients with special needs or learning how to professionally and skillfully teach meditation to others.
